CocoNuts to Cancer

"CocoNuts to Cancer" is a set of knitted knockers that will be on display at Thursday's VIPink event. The Adventist Health Knitted Knockers program provides breast cancer patients knitted and crocheted prosthetics, a cooler and more comfortable than traditional prosthetics. Each year a Knitted Knocker Knit-Off contest is held, challenging local knitters and crocheters to enter their most creative prosthetic. People can vote on the Adventist Health Bakersfield Facebook page or at the Adventist Health AIS Cancer Center.
