The Bakersfield Condors have finalized their hockey operations staff and goaltenders will be getting plenty of up-close and personal instruction as Edmonton goaltending development coach Sylvain Rodrigue will be based in Bakersfield.

Rodrigue, a Montreal native, has been with the Oilers organization since 2013-14 and has worked closely with Condors goaltenders over the year but his duties also included scouting. His focus now will solely be on developing goaltenders.

In other news, Sam Kim has been hired as video coordinator and Chad Drown is the head athletic trainer.

Kim comes to the Condors from the South Korean Men’s National Ice Hockey team where he has served as video coach sicne 2016. He was the video and statistical coordinator for the Springfield Falcons of the AHL in 2013-14.

Drown was assistant athletic trainer for the AHL’s Tucson Roadrunners last season.
