Dan Ingle has resigned as football coach at Foothill High School, according to Trojans athletic director Mike Biezad.

Biezad said in an email to The Californian that Ingle stepped down to spend more time with his family.

Ingle just completed his first season with the Trojans. He was a 2004 graduate of Foothill, and was previously an offensive coordinator with Independence.

He took over a program that had recorded just five wins over the previous four years. Things didn't go that much better at Foothill in 2017, however, as the team finished with a 1-8 record.

Biezad said those interested in the position can email him at mbiezad@kernhigh.org or call 661-366-4491, ext. 39.
