The Bakersfield Condors couldn’t hang on to a 1-0 lead, surrendering four goals in the final period in a 4-1 road loss to the Rockford IceHogs on Tuesday night.

Bakersfield held a 1-0 lead after two periods. The lone goal up to that point was scored by Dillon Simpson at the 7:29 mark of the opening stanza.

But Rockford broke through with four goals in the final period to put things away.

Andreas Martinsen, Tanner Kero, Gustav Forsling and Adam Clendening scored the four IceHogs goals.

Condors goalkeeper Laurent Brossoit stopped 40 of 43 shots in the loss.

The Condors (17-16-7-0) return home Friday for back-to-back games against San Diego.

With the win, Rockford moved to 23-16-2-4 on the year.
