The Condors scored four unanswered goals Saturday night in Cedar Park Texas to beat the Texas Stars 4-2.
The victory lifted the Condors (14-13-6-0) above .500 for the first time since Nov. 4 as they finished a four-game road trip 3-0-1.
Trailing 2-0 after the first period, the Condors started their come back when Ty Rattie scored his team-leading 12th goal on a power play with 21 seconds left in the second.
Brad Malone evened the game 5:56 into the third when he scored on a short-handed breakaway. Joe Gambardella, who missed the last 13 games due to injury, got the game winner at 7:56 and Iiro Pakarinen hit the empty net with 16 seconds left to seal the win. Pakarinen has goals in four straight.
Nick Ellis stopped 38 shots to get the win.
Texas took a 2-0 lead with a pair of goals in the final 26 seconds of the first period. Curtis McKenzie scored his 18th of the season with 26 seconds left and Austin Fyten scored 16 seconds later.
Earlier in the day, Edmonton placed goaltender Laurent Brossoit on waivers for the purposes of reassignment to the Condors.
Brossoit played 21 games for the Condors last season, the last on Jan. 10, 2017 in a 5-2 win over San Antonio. Brossoit was recalled to the Oilers the next day and has been with Edmonton since then.
Brossoit is 3-7-0-1 in 13 games with the Oilers this season with a 3.22 goals-against average and .886 save percentage. He last played on Dec. 14.
