Bakersfield (5-4) avenged its Nov. 10 loss to San Diego Mesa with a 94-81 win over the Olympians on Friday in the Mount San Jacinto Tournament.

The Renegades lost the first matchup by five in a game where it shot 27.8 percent from the field and 14.3 percent from 3-point land. On Friday, BC shot 47.3 and 39.4 percent, respectively. The Renegades were led by 27 points from Tucker Eenigenburg, 21 points from Jaylunn English, and 20 points from Jamar Hammonds.

“Our three best scorers had good games,” BC head coach Rich Hughes said.

BC will have another rematch Saturday when it faces Santiago Canyon at 11 a.m. in the tournament’s consolation championship. The Renegades lost to Santiago Canyon, 102-85, on Nov. 4.
