Bakersfield College baseball (5-9) lost its fourth game in a row, falling to Golden West (7-4), 3-1, on Saturday. It was the closest of the three contests between the two teams in the last three days. BC has lost six of its last eight games.

Through the first eight innings of the game, BC only managed one hit. It was held to two on the game. The Renegades’ only run came in the seventh on a wild pitch. It tied the game at one.

Golden West knocked in two runs in the next half inning to take back the lead.
