I can’t believe the turmoil continues over the NFL players kneeling to protest a racial issue. It defies common sense.
A player puts on a company uniform, goes out to a stadium either owned or controlled by the employer and makes a protest that irritates many fans and television viewers. Who then discontinue attending or viewing games, thereby reducing the employers' income.
Who pays the millions in salaries for these players? Nobody denies these players have a right to protest, but not on the company dime.
