A 61-year-old Bakersfield woman who was struck by a vehicle and died was identified Thursday by the Kern County coroner’s office as Ma Virinealiz Alconera Ambal.
Ambal died at 6:43 p.m. Feb. 7 at South Union Avenue and Adams Street. The coroner ruled the manner of death an accident and said she died from blunt injuries.
