Man involved in fatal I-5 car collision is identified

A 39-year-old man who was in a fatal vehicle collision on Interstate 5 in Bakersfield has been identified by the Kern County coroner’s office.

According to the coroner’s report, Santoge Thearry Declouette, of Los Angeles, was killed April 4 just after 3 a.m. when the vehicle he was driving collided with a semi-truck on I-5, north of the California Aqueduct Overpass, in Bakersfield. He was declared dead at the scene.
