Residents took advantage of some cheap dance lessons on Saturday.

As part of a celebration of National Dance Day, the Kern Dance Alliance held $2 hour-long dance lessons throughout the day in their studio at Garces Memorial High School. Sessions focused on different kinds of dancing, including Zumba, kids hip-hop, country line dancing and even pole dancing.

The event also included giveaways throughout the day as well as raffles for each class. All of the the classes were available for any skill level.
