A woman wearing dark colored clothing crossing South Union Avenue was struck by a driver Tuesday night and died, according to the California Highway Patrol news release.
The 35-year-old walked into traffic lanes around Adams Street and Union for unknown reasons and directly crossed into the path of Jose Luis Moscott Ruiz, 26, a news release stated.
