Two women cited in massage parlor sting on suspicion of prostitution

Kern County Sheriff’s officials continued their ongoing sting operations at illicit massage parlors, citing and releasing two middle-aged women Tuesday for sex-related crimes, county officials said.

One woman, a 51-year-old from Alhambra, was cited on suspicion of solicitation of prostitution at Golden Massage on 35315 Merle Haggard Drive.

The other, a 48-year-old woman from Los Angeles, was cited on suspicion of exposing genital parts, touching genital parts and soliciting prostitution at Bella Sol Salon Massage on 1002 Wible Road.

Kern County Public Health Services Department officials closed the facilities, which were in violation of a county ordinance.

The arrests mark the third undercover sting operation conducted jointly by Public Health and KCSO.
