A 31-year-old man who fled the scene of a fatal crash 10 years ago was arrested by U.S. Marshals last week, according to Delano police.

Pedro Sanchez is due in court Wednesday on charges including vehicular manslaughter, according to Sheriff's Office booking information.

Sanchez was driving a vehicle in the 700 block of Fremont Street in Delano the morning of Feb. 8, 2009, when he struck a pedestrian, Delano police said. He ran from the crash, leaving the pedestrian, Brenda Wyatt, pinned underneath his vehicle.

She died from her injuries.

U.S. Marshals located Sanchez Friday in the Fresno area, police said.
