A man looked into a southwest Bakersfield residence while holding a rifle early Wednesday morning. 

Police say a man armed with a rifle looked into the window of a southwest Bakersfield residence early Wednesday.

Surveillance video captured the man peering into a window at about 4:20 a.m. while standing at the front door of a residence in the 13500 block of Stonethwaite Lane, south of Ming Avenue and west of South Allen Road. 

The suspect did not enter the residence.

He's described as black, 20 to 25 years old, and wore a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. 

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call Detective Kevin Hock at 326-3501 or the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.

Didn't smile, even though he looked at the camera sign which said "You're On Candid Camera" . . .!


Looks like an airsoft rifle, however it looks enough to get you killed..
