BPD: Felon who shot at person arrested

Bakersfield Police arrested Jason Sanders, 40, on suspicion of shooting a firearm at another person during an altercation at around 1:01 a.m. Saturday at the 2500 block of Connie Avenue.

The victim was not struck by the gunfire, BPD said in a news release. Sanders is a prior felon, BPD said, and he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
