Two Arvin gang members face life terms in prison after a jury found them guilty Friday of attempted murder and related offenses.

Edgar Isidro Garcia and Jose Luis Valencia, members of the Arvina 13 criminal street gang, were convicted of opening fire at two teens at a car wash in Arvin during the early morning of Aug. 24, 2014. One of the teens was struck and seriously injured, prosecutors said.

Garcia, 22, and Valencia, 20, then led law enforcement on a lengthy, high-speed chase that ended when California Highway Patrol officers deployed a spike strip, prosecutors said.

The two are scheduled to be sentenced Dec 22, and each face a minimum sentence of 32 years to life in prison.
