One of the two men convicted in the murder that introduced a scandalized public to the so-called Lords of Bakersfield is out of prison after 38 years. Robert Mistriel, who was just 17 when he arranged the killing of Kern County Human Resources Director Ed Buck in 1981, was released April 16 from Salinas Valley State Prison. Now he's ready to tell his story.
