The Bakersfield Police Department and the Kern County Superintendent of Schools hosted an Easter egg hunt for blind and visually impaired students on Thursday. Plastic eggs with beepers inside made it possible for students to find the eggs, which were then traded for candy-filled eggs. The event was held at the Bakersfield Police Activities League, 301 E. Fourth St.
