Ken Harris

State Oil and Gas Supervisor Ken Harris, head of California's Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources, was appointed to his position by former Gov. Jerry Brown on Dec. 7, 2015. The agency's website says Harris has "extensive experience with complex water policy and regulatory matters, and in managing large teams to implement priority initiatives." Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered Harris fired Thursday.
