An undisclosed illness has forced country music legend Willie Nelson to cancel his three shows this week at Buck Owens' Crystal Palace.Â
The shows were to have taken place tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday. Palace talent buyer Jerry Hufford said he expects promoters to contact him soon to arrange alternate concert dates; refunds also will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the point of purchase.
"Every single ticket was sold out," said Hufford, who was reached by Nelson's camp Monday morning, hours before the start of the first concert.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Nelson, 83, had missed two shows, on Jan. 27 and 28, at the Venetian Theater, also due to illness.
Nelson appears to have performed his Feb. 1, 3 and 4 shows at the Venetian and was spotted Jan. 31 at a Vegas guitar shop, where he was promoting his line of cannabis products.
