Dwight Yoakam returns to Bakersfield on Sunday for a show at the Fox Theater.

Dwight Yoakam is returning to town just in time for an early Christmas gift for local country fans.

Bakersfield's spiritual son will perform Dec. 2 at the Fox Theater. He last played at the downtown venue in 2015.

Tickets range from $55 to $85.  Pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m., followed by sales for the general public at 10 a.m. Friday on ticketfly.com.

Doors open at 7 p.m., show is at 8 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Fox, 2001 H St.

Yoakam is currently on the LSD tour, representing the D along with Americana singer Lucinda Williams (L) and Steve Earle (S), who is performing with his band the Dukes. Each performer is promoting some something, which is Yoakam's case is his new SiriusXM satellite radio station, Dwight Yoakam and the Bakersfield Beat, focused on California country and country rock.
