When you think of March, the magic you might think of is college basketball (yawn) or leprechauns (keep ‘em on the cereal box). But Gaslight Melodrama is conjuring up something special for the season debut of Ron Saylor’s “Celebrities of Magic.”

For the 15th season debut on Monday night, RJ Cantu will bring his laser-bending routine, along with a number of his other hits, to the Gaslight stage. You may have seen the Las Vegas-based performer’s routine on The CW’s “Masters of Illusion” or “America’s Got Talent.”

The actor/musician is no stranger to the small screen, where he is known for roles on shows such as ABC Family’s “The Secret Life of An American Teenager,” MTV’s “Death Valley” and “Veronica Mars” on The CW.

Monday’s show starts at 7:30 p.m. at Gaslight Melodrama, 12748 Jomani Drive. Tickets are $25, on sale now by calling 587-3377. For more information on the new season, curated by award-winning magician Ron Saylor, visit celebritiesofmagic.com.
