Bakersfield High School Government Teacher Jeremy Adams wants to make sure BHS is known as much for academics as it is for athletics. Each year he
coordinates the Earl Warren Cup Academic Competition, which includes comments and questions videotaped by national leaders. While he’s been able to secure various congressional leaders, he’s hoping to get a sitting president to tape a message for the students one year. Adams was interviewed by C-SPAN for the special on Bakersfield that aired this past weekend.
