CSUB sits in fourth place after the first of three rounds at the Western Athletic Conference women's golf championship Wednesday at Indian Hills Country Club in Mission Hills, Kan.

The Roadrunners shot 310 as a team, trailing Missouri-Kansas City (303), Seattle (308) and New Mexico State (309) in a tight team race.

CSUB junior Ariel Lee shot 1-over-par 73 and is tied for second in the individual standings. Tori Peers shot 76, tying her for eighth. Macey Mills (79) and Julia Stewart (82) rounded out the team's scoring.

The second round begins early this morning with the final round Friday.
