Cal State Bakersfield baseball picked up a big win on their home diamond Tuesday night.

The Roadrunners beat UNLV 4-0, moving to 6-8 on the season. The Rebels, who entered the contest off to a blazing start to the season, are now 11-2.

Starting pitcher Isaiah Moten threw four innings for CSUB, combining with three other Roadrunner pitchers on the 10-hit shutout.

Shortstop Austyn Tengan provided the big bat for CSUB, going 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Catcher Jake Ortega also went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Andrew Penner and Jassen Oliver also collected two hits apiece for the Roadrunners.

CSUB scored a run in the second inning, another in the sixth, and two more in the eighth. 

The Roadrunners take the field again this weekend for a three-game series at College of Charleston.
