The Edmonton Oilers announced Thursday they have signed former Bakersfield Condor Joey Laleggia to a one-year contract.

Leleggia, a defenseman and wing, scored 20 goals and had 38 points in 67 games with the Condors last season. All were American Hockey League career highs, and he tied for the team lead with six game-winning goals.
