Hey everyone, it's Trevor Horn here from BVarsity. I am at Staples Center today to check out former Bakersfield High standout Tyrone Wallace play in his fifth NBA game for the Los Angeles Clippers at 12:30 p.m. against the Sacramento Kings.

2:52 p.m. - That's a final. Clippers beat Sacramento 126-103. Rookie Tyrone Wallace scored 12 points off 5 of 8 shooting in 32 minutes of play. More on Wallace on Bakersfield.com later and on the front page of the Sunday edition of The Californian.

2:43 p.m. - Wallace checks back in with 2:53 to play.

2:19 p.m. - Just before committing his fourth foul, Tyrone Wallace drove to the basket, scoring his 10th point of the game. It's the fourth time the rookie out of Bakersfield High has scored double-digits in five NBA games since being called up seven days ago. Clippers lead Sacramento 91-68 after three quarters.

2:14 p.m. - There is 2:14 left in the third quarter and the Clippers lead the Kings 84-63. Wallace has played 27 minutes and has eight points, but also recently committed his third personal foul while going up for a layup.

1:54 p.m. - Just spoke with Tyrone Wallace's parents and his little brother. Such a wonderful time for the family to come down and watch him play on the one-week anniversary of him breaking into the NBA. Third quarter just began.

1:40 p.m. - Tyrone Wallace scored eight points in the first half for the Clippers as L.A. leads Sacramento 64-45.

1:27 p.m. - Wallace at the scorers table ready to check in for first action of the second quarter for the Clippers.

1:15 p.m. - Clippers coach Doc Rivers spoke with the media pregame and here are his comments on Tyrone Wallace.

12:59 p.m. - Wallace gets another nice look from a big and gets to the basket with ease for his second layup. Wallace has a game-high six points with 2:27 left in the first quarter. Clippers lead Sacramento 23-12.

12:49 p.m. - Tyrone Wallace's first points today come off a pick down the lane off the assist from Blake Griffin for the uncontested layup. Clippers lead Sacramento 12-4 with 7:30 left in opening quarter.

12:39 p.m. - Wallace is starting at forward today for the Clippers. His second consecutive start, both now coming against Sacramento.

12:30 p.m. - We are just a few minutes from tip here at Staples. It's NBA JAM day here at Staples. So there is a lot of "Boom Shackalacka" going on. Wallace is a possible starter for today. We shall wait for introductions.

Wallace has scored in double figures three times since being called up from the G-League a week ago. The lone game he did not score in double figures was his first start against these very Kings two days ago on the road.

Here is what Clippers coach Doc Rivers had to say about Wallace an hour before tip off.

"We like Ty from training camp," Rivers said. "I thought he performed everybody out of the G-League guys. Then he goes into the G-League and plays terrific."

Rivers credits Wallace for the win over Sacramento on Thursday to Wallace, with his ability to sense a chance for a steal, which led to a wide open slam dunk that went viral on social media.

"He won a game for us the other night with his I.Q.," Rivers said. "Which stands out to me even more because he sensed what was about to happen. He made the comment that he sensed a big with the ball that don't dribble. A big has to pass the ball. He just waited, he waited for the pass, shot it and got the steal."

Continue following along today with updates from the game here in L.A.
