The Frontier Titans took home first place in the Southwest Yosemite League Wrestling Tournament on Thursday night.

The tournament was held at Frontier.

The Titans received first place finishes from Josh Acala (106 pound weight class), Noah Ozuna (113), Cole Reyes (120), Garrett Fletcher (132), Ryan Morphis (138), Max Aguirre (160), Trent Tracy (170) and Ty Shepherd (195).

Other individual champions were Angel Rosales (Bakersfield High, 126); Izzak Olejnick (BHS, 145); Adrian Gonzalez (BHS, 152); Nick Maiden (Stockdale, 182); Justin Darter (BHS, 220); and Josiah Hill (BHS, 285).

Fletcher won outstanding wrestler in the lightweight division, while Hill was named outstanding wrestler amongst the upper weights.

The Titans finished first in the team standings with 277 points. They were followed by Bakersfield High (263), Centennial (139), Liberty (108), Stockdale (68) and Garces (67).
