Capping CSUB’s week of three teams playing at Fresno State, the women’s swimming and diving team (4-4) lost to the Bulldogs, 194-99.

Sophomore Jayssie Haynes was the highlight for CSUB, winning the 200-yard freestyle by 0.08 seconds. Haynes placed second in the 200-yard breastroke and third in 200-yard individual medley.

"Fresno came to play today and we were a little short," CSUB coach Chris Hansen said. “Jayssie Haynes, who is really tired from Nationals, showed up again to race strong. Gabi Liedy was also really impressive today. We have a long break and we are going to get busy with our training."

Liedy placed second in the 1000-yard freestyle in a personal best time of 10:29.04.
