The Roadrunners (6-4) finished their road trip with a 66-50 loss to South Dakota (3-6) in Vermillion, South Dakota on Saturday. CSUB lost its third straight game for its longest losing streak so far in the young season.

Once again, Aja Williams led CSUB in scoring with 16 points, but she was the only player on the team to reach double digits. The Roadrunners shot just 28 percent overall and 23.8 percent from 3-point land.

South Dakota’s Madison McKeever, Allison Arens and Chloe Lamb scored 17,13 and 12 points, respectively. The Coyotes trio combined to shoot 66.7 percent.

South Dakota started the game on a 12-0 run and held CSUB to five points in the first quarter. The Coyotes did not trail in the game and led by as much as 28. CSUB went on a 14-0 run in the fourth quarter to close the gap a bit.
