CSUB women's basketball let its 16-point lead shrink down to just two with two minutes left against Utah Valley, but the Roadrunners held on for a 64-60 win in Utah on Thursday. The victory was CSUB's eighth in a row.

The Roadrunners are in first place in the Western Athletic Conference with a 10-2 conference record.

Point guard Alexxus Gilbert led CSUB with 18 points and Jazmine Johnson had 14. Leading scorer Aja Williams only had eight points but she hauled in 13 rebounds. The Roadrunners out-rebounded Utah Valley, 41-22.
