The second largest crowd in Bakersfield Condors history took in the team's annual Field Trip Day on Thursday.

The number in attendance was 8,990, as school children from throughout Kern County as well as some outlying counties were invited to take in the game. That, combined with the Teddy Bear Toss sellout on Saturday, made the 17,852 fans the most in back-to-back home games in Condors history.

Bakersfield lost to the Stockton Heat on Thursday, 3-1.
