Condors defenseman Dillon Simpson models the Star Wars themed jersey the team will wear on Jan. 27 against the San Diego Gulls.

Will The Force be with the Condors on Jan. 27?

Certainly they will have the right gear on for the battle against the evil Gullactic Empire that night at Rabobank Arena.

The Condors are taking on the San Diego Gulls in the annual Star Wars Night game and for the first time in team history the Condors will be dressed in jerseys appropriate for a Galactic Battle.

The jerseys are modeled after a Rebel X-Wing Flight Suit and the front crest features an embroidered Rebel Alliance logo. The Condors secondary logo, a claw clutching an oil drop, is featured on the belt.

The back of the jersey features the Red 5’s X-Wing starfighter with the Jedi Order Symbol. The bottom of the jersey features “Bakersfield Condors”, written in Aurebesh while the sleeves are adorned with the call sign for Red 5.

All of the jerseys will be available following the game. Proceeds

from the auction will benefit various local charities.
