The Bakersfield Condors ended the season on Saturday night, beating the Ontario Reign 5-1 in the season finale at Rabobank Arena.

The Condors finish four games above .500 — 31-27-9-1.

Rookies David Gust and Joe Gambardella each scored their 13th of the year. Tyler Vesel, who was playing on an amateur tryout agreement, got his third goal in 11 games, Zach O’Brien notched his sixth goal of the season and versatile Joey LaLeggia, who played both forward and defense this season, wound up with 15 goals on the year.

The Condors saluted a crowd of 7,077 by taking one last lap around the ice at the end of the game.

Bakersfield tied its season high for shots on goal with 42.

Laurent Brossoit, who was likely playing his last game in the Edmonton Oilers organization, stopped 22 shots for the win. He has 66 wins over parts of four seasons with the Condors.
