TUCSON — The Bakersfield Condors (5-6-1-0) opened the scoring, but the Tucson Roadrunners (8-1-2-0) extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games with a 4-1 win on Saturday night at Tucson Arena.
The Roadrunners received 12 power plays in the game, most surrendered by the Condors in a game in AHL history. Left wing Joey LaLeggia scored Bakersfield's lone goal on the power play in the first period.
That made the score 1-0 before Tucson rattled off four straight goals — one to close the first period, two in the second, and another in the third.
Lawson Crouse scored two goals for the Roadrunners, while Kyle Capobianco and Kyle Wood each had two assists for Tucson.
