Norris Middle School 8th grade boys basketball team reclaims the County Championship title by defeating Warren Jr. High in a tough fought battle 38-36. Norris was up by three at halftime, and then quickly trailed by four going into the fourth quarter.

This was the 4th time the two teams had met up in the championship game of a tournament this year, going into a combined four overtimes.

Norris’ only loss of the year being against a very talented Warren team.

Earlier in the tournament, a number one seeded Norris beat Tevis 49-21, and defeated Stonecreek 41-33. The team finished 35-1.

Norris’ team has been together for both 7th and 8th grade. Its record over the two years combined is an impressive 53-1.
