Tom Ladman / For The Californian

Ten-year-old gymnast Dominic Banducci won the “Mr. Handstand” contest at the Southern California State Gymnastics Championships in Aliso Viejo March 17-19. In the final, which Banducci qualified for earlier this year, he held his handstand without moving for one minute and thirty five seconds to beat out the rest of the field. He becomes only the second Mr. Handstand winner from Bakersfield. He is coached at American Kids Sports Center by Tom Ladman and Tom Carpenter.
