Ethan Bear recorded a goal and an assist, and the Bakersfield Condors beat the Ontario Reign 3-1 on Saturday night at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario.

The Condors swept the two-game set at Ontario — they won Friday night’s game 2-0 — and are now 3-2-0-0 on the season. The Reign remain winless at 0-5-0-0.

While Bear, a defenseman, scored one goal and helped with another, Ellis stopped 35 of 36 shots in the win and 67 of 68 over the two-game weekend stretch.

Ty Rattie and Joey LaLeggia each scored their first goals of the season for the Condors.

Bakersfield returns home for a five-game stretch at Rabobank Arena. Friday and Saturday the team will host the Stockton Heat, and then will have three straight home contests the following week.
