The Bakersfield College women’s basketball team played from behind Santa Ana right until the final six minutes of a 60-58 road win Tuesday night.

The Renegades (4-7) then engaged in a seesaw battle for the remainder of the game before scoring the winning basket with less than 30 seconds to go. The team was sparked by strong bench play from Angie Kroeger and Bianca Zamora.

Zamora chipped in 13 points, a pair of steals and five rebounds to give BC the boost it needed.

Santa Ana is now 5-5 on the season.
