The Bakersfield College women's basketball team lost its final home game of the calendar year, 109-39, to Mt. San Jacinto on Saturday night.

Octavia Croney had 17 points and five rebounds for BC (3-7), which shot 15.6-percent from the field.

Britney Thomas scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the visiting Eagles (9-1).

Thomas tallied 15 points in the first quarter to help Mt. San Jacinto build a 26-8 lead after 10 minutes. The 6-foot-2 sophomore forward was 8 of 12 from the field. The Eagles, as a team, shot 48.2-percent from the floor.
