Stockdale junior Aaliyah Wilson was among the state's leaders in the girls 100-meter hurdles entering the CIF State Track & Field Championships. She was running next to national leader Tara Davis of Agoura – and essentially keeping up – when she clipped a hurdle, lost her balance and crashed to the track. She got up and finished the race (though her official result would be disqualification). The first to greet her at the finish line was Davis, with a hug.
