Can't ask for more

I'll be 84 in about a month. My wife died a little over two years ago. I have a son and a daughter.

My son calls me every day from Long Beach and my daughter each week or two from Oregon. We are friends who know we can depend on each other under any circumstance.

I have always known my children loved me, but now I know that they are my friends. You can't ask for more than that.
