The global warming, carbon credit, green movement being forced on the U.S. by the state and federal governments are a giant hoax.
None of the programs that Al Gore, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid or our own Lt. Gov. John Garamendi are cleaning up anything except for U.S. citizens' back pockets.
Right now our state is drowning in debt caused by the piggishness of the out-of-control politicians who can never extort enough of our hard earned pay. The oil drilling project off of the coast of Santa Barbara earlier this year was stomped down by Garamendi and his three-member State Lands Commission.
In fact, because of efforts by these enviro, green-warming groups, the air and water are being polluted daily by 6,000 gallons of oil and 5 million cubic feet of natural gas.
The Democrats in charge of ordering U.S. citizens around are allowing the second largest oil seeps in the world to waste and pollute our planet. (The largest is in Azerbaijan on the Caspian Sea).
Go to Santa Barbara yourself and check out Coal Oil Point. You can see the oil in the water and tar balls on the sand. Gas and oil are on this planet for man to use for fuel and many useful products, not to waste.
If the idiots in our government would get U.S. drilling, we could benefit with the removal of this wasteful pollution and use of our own natural resources.
