Bakersfield's saint

It doesn't matter if you are Christian, Jewish, Islamic or an atheist -- Father Craig is a true saint. Never will you meet a person closer to the hand of God, who speaks with the voice of Jesus and has the compassion and tireless work ethic of Mother Teresa.

Every time I hear Father Craig speak, his message touches a nerve and brings chills to my heart. He will make you laugh, cry and wanting to help your fellow man all in the same sermon. He unselfishly helps families in their loss of a family member, for the baptism of their first child or at their wedding. He seems to be everywhere at once.

The Catholic Church has not had the most positive "press" lately. However, Father Craig is the most positive mogul to represent the Bakersfield church. His passion and ability to convert younger and older members to Catholicism can be witnessed every Tuesday at St. Francis. I've counted over 50 persons at once at these meetings. He is like a college football recruiter for USC.

If you need guidance or just need to hear a very inspirational person speak about God, find out when he is performing mass at St. Francis and attend. It may change your life, or you will at least reflect on yourself and determine that you can have a positive relationship with God.

Please go hear him speak. I hope he will be the first American Pope!
