Mental conditioning

Regarding the controversy that surrounded President Obama's "pep" talk to students: There was no controversy in June 2005 at Stella Hills Elementary School when Assemblymember Jean Fuller, then Superintendent of the Bakersfield City School District, permitted then Assemblymember Kevin McCarthy, now Representative in Congress, to distribute political propaganda to most of the students at this school.

One parent, interviewed on TV about the recent controversy, said that she did not want her four children subjected to mental conditioning by our president.

This parent will be shocked to her core when her children enter high school.

In high school, mental conditioning of all students happens by frequently shortening the class periods so that one group of students can be honored. This one group of students is the only group so honored at student-body assemblies. Many display cases on each high school campus contain trophies, plaques and photographs that proclaim the supreme worth to society of this one group of students. Only this special group of students is permitted to wear sweaters/jackets. These special students have special privileges in the classrooms and, probably, are assigned grades based on a special standard.

This parent will not even be aware that her children are being mentally conditioned.
