Government folly

If the cap-and-trade tax bill, HR 2454, passes in the Senate, hang on. When energy costs rise significantly due to legislation by the government, the oil companies will no longer be the whipping boys. Be sure and write Congress thanking them profusely for their accomplishments -- 1,300 pages of garbage they never read is going to be crammed down our throats, and the brain-dead Congress doesn't care.

When we are under the umbrella of a national health care system, you may not be able to get the care you need. Your age will be a determining factor when and if they implement this plan.

It wasn't greed that brought the housing industry to its knees. It was the brain-dead Congress in their shining hour, relaxing the rules for mortgage loans to be made to people who shouldn't have been qualified in the first place. Believe me, more government is not the answer.
