Arrogant apologies

Why did President Obama have to embarrass Americans by apologizing for our country? He is the president, the commander-in-chief and the representative of over 300 million people. If he takes no pride in these positions, he should never have run for president in the first place.

Why would the IOC remotely consider an Olympic location in a country that its own leader is ashamed of and is constantly apologizing for its history and attitude? Obviously, it didn't!

And, more importantly what issues does Obama think are worthy of an apology to other countries? Is it for sending billions of dollars in foreign aid? Or is it our audacity in sending them billions in humanitarian aid during natural disasters and other crises? Or for liberating their populace during various wars?

Is it for helping to rebuild these countries after those wars? Perhaps for sharing wealth-building ideas or medical discoveries? Is it because we have a free press, freedom of religion and freedom of speech, which many of them do not? Or maybe for not imposing tariffs on the goods they export to the U.S.? I know, it's for outsourcing millions of jobs, giving their residents security and a steady income. Is that it?

Obama must quit apologizing for this great country or resign and go run for office in a country that he doesn't think warrants his arrogant apologies.
