Greed everywhere

Here we go again. Gas prices have gone up over $1 per gallon in the last 58 days. Standard Oil just announced last quarter profits were the largest in their history. That makes the guy who just lost his job feel really good.

This is the very greed that brought down the housing industry, the banks, Wall Street and the medical industry. A few months ago I had to see a cardiologist. I was in his very fancy office for 15 minutes. He did not touch me. We just talked. He billed my insurance $425. People that's $1,700 an hour. Don't you think that's a little excessive? Ask the guy in the unemployment line.

The people who we elected to run our country have done a lousy job. They tell us we have to sacrifice, take cuts in pay and mandatory days off without pay. They have not cut their pay, staff or the millions of dollars in perks they all enjoy. The working person has to foot the bill.

The jerks we elected need to step back from the feeding trough. They need to feel the pain like the rest of us. I hear nothing about regulating the oil industry. Speaking of oil, why doesn't the state buy Flying J oil refinery and every other refinery in the country? The government controls this commodity in the rest of the world. Maybe it would work in the good old USA?

Naw. That's because they have most politicians in their pocket. Folks, they have us over a barrel. I will never vote for incumbent again.
