Democrats in trouble

Barack Obama has raised an almost unimaginable amount of money. I have heard radio commentaries asking where he could get all these contributors. MoveOn.org endorsed Obama. MoveOn is an extremely powerful and liberal organization. This organization helped Democrats win seats in the last election. They manned phones, rallied and protested. Many of the issues they support I also support. I helped call to get candidates elected.

Our readers recommend:

However, I support Hillary Clinton. It was my feeling that MoveOn should have let the election run its course, and let the people decide. I conveyed this by e-mail, but I still get asked for contributions.

MoveOn has asked members to be sure to get to the primaries and the caucuses. This is what happened in Texas. In Texas, voters could vote in the primary and then vote again in the caucuses. This is how Obama did as well as he did. All this is totally legal.

Democrats' votes in Florida and Michigan didn't count. Hillary won Florida. Obama was not on the ballot in Michigan, so Hillary would be the winner.

Whose fault is it the votes didn't count? Certainly not the people who voted. As chairman of the Democratic Party, what has Howard Dean been doing?

We Democrats need to straighten up our act. Or should we clean the slate and start a new party? I'm almost ashamed to admit to being a Democrat. I definitely am not proud of George Bush's legacy. What is a patriot to do?
